This is the cake I did for a retirement party! I was really excited about how it turned out! Thanks to my friend Beth for making the awesome truck on top and decorating the top tier!

It's a jungle out there!

Cake for my little cousin, Julia, for her first birthday. Jungle themed. I had some fondant issues with the top and middle layer and tried to cover it as best as I could. Everyone loved it, though! : )

UK graduation!

UK graduation cake. Bottom layer devils food, middle layer is yellow, top layer is white. ALl with buttercream. All accents fondant. This was my first time trying the bow and I think it turned out really cute. The grad cap is a cupcake upside down covered in fondant.

All-Star Birthday!

Cake for a 9 year-old boy. He plays for the Arizona Diamondbacks for his little league team and wanted that for his birthday. The bottom layer is yellow cake and the top layer is chocolate. The hat is made of rice krispy treats and is covered in fondant. It was fun to make but it was really hard to get that burgundy color!

Star Wars!

This is the Star Wars cake I did for a man's son at work. He told me that he loves Star Wars so I made Yoda and R2-D2 and Light sabers. I also wrote around the bottom "The Force is Strong with Evan." I hope he likes it! It's a white cake with buttercream frosting. The black is buttercream and the blue is fondant. All the accents are fondant.

A baby shower and three birthdays!

This is the cake I did for Beth's baby shower. This is cake one of FOUR that I made last Thursday. Needless to say, I didn't get to bed until well past 2:30am. I was quite pleased with all of them, though, and the recipients sure seemed to like them, which is the best part!

This was the cake I did for my brother's birthday. Stewie turned out alright, but he could have been better. It was a banana cake with cream cheese frosting. Overall, I liked the cake.

This is the cake I did for my cousin Tony. He wanted a Texas Hold 'em table. It was also banana with a cream cheese frosting.

And this is the cake I did for my Uncle Mike. I'm not sure why the picture won't turn, but it's being stubborn. It turned out awesome and I really liked it and so did he : )
